What you can earn

FitRest has 83 badges in four categories: Activity (31), Sleep (11), Wellness (24) and Milestones (17). Each badge has a tier - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Legendary - so the same habit can keep rewarding you as you get better at it. Badges cover steps, distance, calories, exercise, climbing, sleep duration, sleep consistency, sleep quality, workouts, mindfulness, hydration, heart health, streaks, perfect days and collecting other badges. A few examples are 10K Walker, Million Step Club, Marathon Day, Globe Trotter, Stair Climber and Sleep Master.

As you unlock badges you climb nine levels: Newcomer, Starter, Mover, Achiever, Contender, Trailblazer, Champion, Elite and Legend. The Achievements card on the Dashboard shows your current level and how many more badges you need to reach the next one. Each new badge is celebrated with an unlock screen.

Why small wins matter

Healthy habits pay off slowly, which is exactly why they are hard to keep. Visible milestones help bridge that gap. A badge for a week of steady sleep or a streak you do not want to break gives today's effort a payoff you can see now, long before the health benefits show up.

Rewarding a wide range of habits matters too. If only workouts count, rest days feel like failure. Including sleep, hydration, mindfulness and consistency sends a better message: recovery is part of getting fitter, and showing up regularly beats the occasional heroic effort.

At a Glance, Almost There and Personal Records

The Achievements & Records screen opens with At a Glance: your current streak of 5,000+ step days, your perfect streak of days with all rings closed, your active days and your workouts. Almost There lists your closest unlocks so you know what is within reach. By Category groups badges by area, and All Achievements shows how many of the 83 you have unlocked, filtered by All, Earned or Locked.

Personal Records keeps your best performances in one place, including:

  • Most steps in a day, best 7-day steps, longest distance and most flights climbed
  • Most active calories, longest exercise day, longest workout and biggest workout burn
  • Longest activity and perfect streaks
  • Longest and average sleep, and best sleep efficiency
  • Lowest resting heart rate, best VO2 max, most water in a day and mindful minutes

How it stays up to date

Achievements are measured over the last 365 days of your Apple Health data and refresh automatically; pull down on the screen to update right away. Activity comes from iPhone and Apple Watch, sleep and heart badges need a watch worn overnight, and hydration and mindfulness badges come from the water and mindful minutes in Apple Health, including the breathing sessions FitRest saves there. Distance badges follow your kilometre or mile setting.

How to use it

  1. 1Check Almost There each week and pick one badge to aim for.
  2. 2Protect your streaks on busy days - a short walk can keep a step streak alive.
  3. 3Log water and finish breathing sessions so hydration and mindfulness badges count.
  4. 4Use Personal Records to set a realistic next target, like beating your best 7-day steps.
