About
Why FitRest exists
An Apple Watch collects a remarkable amount of information every day and night: heart rate, HRV, sleep stages, workouts, steps, blood oxygen and more. Most of it ends up as raw numbers in the Health app, and it is hard to know what any of it means for the day ahead.
FitRest turns that data into a few clear answers. Each morning you see how well you recovered, how you slept, how hard yesterday was and how stressful your day has been, with trends and explanations underneath when you want to go deeper.
FitRest is built and maintained by independent developer Taohidul Islam. It is a native app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, written in Swift, and is available in more than 30 languages.
What guides the app
Answers, not just charts
Every screen starts with the question it answers - am I recovered, how did I sleep, how hard was today - and then shows the detail for anyone who wants it.
Personal, not generic
Scores are read against your own normal, so a number means something for you rather than for an average person.
Built on Apple Health
FitRest reads the data you already have. There is no account, no new device to buy and no data to type in.
Honest about limits
FitRest is a wellness app. It helps you notice patterns and make everyday choices; it does not replace a doctor.
