A Health Calendar with every day's scores

The Health Calendar shows a month at a time with a score ring on each day, for the metric you choose: Recovery, Sleep Quality, Stress, steps, sunlight and more. Tap any day and the whole app moves to that date, so you can look back at exactly how that day went.

What the Health Calendar shows

Open the calendar from the Calendar button in the top bar of any tab. Each day in the month carries a ring that fills with that day's value, so good and bad stretches stand out at a glance. A metric picker chooses what the rings show:

  • Recovery, Stress, Sleep Quality and Sleep Duration
  • Energy Burned, Steps and Exercise Minutes
  • Max HR and Resting HR
  • Sunlight, Water and Caffeine

Why looking back matters

Day-to-day numbers are noisy. One poor night or one stressful day says little on its own. Patterns across weeks say much more: recovery that always dips on Mondays, sleep that slips during busy months, steps that drop off in winter. A calendar is the most natural way to see those patterns because it lines your data up with the life you remember living.

It also helps you connect cause and effect. You know which week you were travelling, which weekend had the late party, when you started a new training block. Seeing your scores laid over those dates makes it easier to learn what actually helps you, and what reliably costs you.

Monthly summaries and browsing past days

Every month comes with a short summary for the chosen metric: your Average, your Best day and the number of Days with data. That makes month-to-month comparisons quick without opening any charts.

You can page back through months as far as your Apple Health history goes. Tap a day and the calendar closes and moves the entire app to that date: the Dashboard, Sleep, Activity and Heart tabs, and the detail screens behind them, all show that day. It is the fastest way to answer a question like "How did I sleep before that race?".

What you need

The calendar reads the same Apple Health data as the rest of FitRest, so the metrics you see depend on what you record. Steps, energy and exercise minutes work with iPhone alone; Recovery, Stress and sleep need a watch worn overnight. If Health access is turned off, the calendar asks you to allow it so it can show your daily scores.

How to use it

  1. 1Switch the calendar to Recovery and look for days of the week that are consistently low.
  2. 2Switch to Sleep Duration to see whether busy weeks are cutting into your nights.
  3. 3Compare the monthly Average with last month to see whether a new habit is paying off.
  4. 4Tap a standout day to open the whole app on that date and see what happened.
  5. 5Use Caffeine or Water to check how steady your intake really is across a month.

Recovery, Stress, Sleep Quality, Sleep Duration, Energy Burned, Steps, Exercise Minutes, Max HR, Resting HR, Sunlight, Water and Caffeine.
